Al-Safinah Mountain

One of the magnificent rock formations that took a shape of a ship. This mountain was taken as a well-known mark on the pilgrimage and the trade caravan route that travelers passed through it from the Levant to the Arabia. It is noted that there are Thamudic inscriptions and ancient Kufic and Arabic writings written by travelers in different periods of time. Some of the writings are estimated to be more than 2000 years old
